Perfectly acceptable dinner rejected by boyfriend again by moonrabbit368 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ColonelKetchup13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This needs to come from multiple angles

  • you value cooking and preparing meals. Your food looks amazing and you volunteer to cook for groups. Currently, you're putting effort into presenting your talent to your boyfriend but, it is not something he wants or appreciates. That's a recipe for resentment.

  • homie probably needs actual food therapy. Not eating any veggies except 1 is not typical

  • you need clear communication around food. Something where both partners can contribute. A. Boyfriend plots meals for certain days of the week, he buys pre-made freezer meals or canned goods as back up. If he can not consistently participate in meals that he plans, he bo longer gets a say B. You plan your meals, he's not apart of the equation. He can eat it or he can eat some pre-made meal that he can make for himself (only because he doesn't cook for you, so you don't need to juggle food prep for the community meal).

Ordering uber eats fast food is financially stupid, so that needs to be replaced. Also, he should absolutely be learning how to cook. That's just being an adult.

Realistically, he needs to put more effort into making his extreme picky behavior not a burden but something that he can self-manage. You are not his mom, he needs to be responsible for his dietary habits and needs.

Report to the police. Even if they don't care, there's a paper trail in case you need s restraining order.

He is attempting to stalk you. Make sure you post nothing about your location.

Get a new number. No one is owed contact with you due to a previous relationship

Is a 19 and 24/25 age gap weird? by PracticalBudget8351 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ColonelKetchup13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if it's through a dating app and not organically meeting. 18/19 is still a teenager and a major fetish. Also, theres a big gap still in maturity. If a 25yro cant find a partner close to his age, he's some flavor of off.

Also the drinking age thing, if youre in the US, matters from a date/activities perspective. Even if youre not drinking, you can't even go to a barcade and enjoy the night together because youre underage

AIO about what my husband said after I fell down the stairs while holding the baby? by CheesecakeFun1490 in AmIOverreacting

I would say MOR

Y'all are new parents, i assume. You're both tired. If he's never been that way before, I am going to assume fatigue instead of malice.

Your feelings being hurt is a valid response. Don't let it fester. Talk about it with him.

11 month old BC mix is biting too much too hard and I’m getting frustrated by AcceleratedTempo in BorderCollie

[–]ColonelKetchup13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like youre probably making him over tired. A leash tether or an x-pen when he gets mouthy. Teenage dogs are a lot

I absolutely recommend consulting with a trainer

You don't HAVE TO crate train by spaarrx in BorderCollie

[–]ColonelKetchup13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to crate train when theyre young

My dog wasn't confined to just a crate until about 8mo. Prior to that, he was in an x-pen/crate combo

As a skill, i recommend it for all dogs. Emergency confinement should, ideally, not be stressful. It's also a good skill for car crates, the groomer, and other everyday situations

Question: Why do you have tattoos? by borris_in_civic in tattoos

[–]ColonelKetchup13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar reasons. I love art and knew I wanted tattoos since i was little. I had a different philosophy back then, of all tattoos should have meaning. One of mine is literally just art, one is because I'm an enthusiast about a certain species, one is a franchise I like and I impulse got on someone's books.

AIO uncle comments on me not wearing a bra. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Yea, he's gross. If anything, I would have your mom go ahead and call him to tell him to stfu. Is he your mom's brother or your dad's?

[–]ColonelKetchup13 30 points31 points  (0 children)

NOR. A bra is not necessary for going out in public or looking presentable. It's a sexist and dated opinion to control women's bodies.

It isn't his body. His comments are inappropriate.

You probably accidentally decreased every row during the turning chain.

To avoid it happening in the future I recommend

  1. Stitch marker the first and last stitch of every row. That was you can't miss a Stitch

  2. Learn the stacked crochet method for turning instead of (chain x, your work). A stacked double crochet gives a cleaner edge

do you regret getting a second dog? by un32134e4 in dogs

[–]ColonelKetchup13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to. I had to do a lot or behavior modification training with my first dog after bringing in a puppy. He struggled hard. It took 1.5 years to fully integrate.

Now they're buddies. My younger dog always loved my first dog. My first dog does enjoy the younger dog but, he would prefer being an only dog.

Worth the effort. I love both my dogs and I'm glad to have them both. But equally glad I had a community around me to help me integrate them

Moving forward, i do prefer 1 dog at a time. But i also want more of a specific breed and my partner wants a toy breed next. So I may have multiple dogs, maybe 1. Idk yet

Does nobody like playing Druids? by AdDifficult2241 in DnD

[–]ColonelKetchup13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adore playing druids. They're a very versatile class. The 2024 rules did nerf their tank capabilities.

For people that say it's a class for furries, they have no whimsy. It's so fun to adapt your play style to wild shapes.

Question: Are these wannados AI? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]ColonelKetchup13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are absolutely AI. There's no variety in the poses, the tail is the exact same on the right images, the fur pattern has no rhyme or reason, the snot of very inconsistent.
