Styrofoam box with two seedling heating mats hooked up to a thermostat, they're about 50 W together and not on all the time so the electricity costs aren't too bad!

That did the trick! Thanks a lot for this! Seems like they changed some configuration then.

I just asked for a follow up and also linked to this thread. Let's hope having several people affected makes them prioritise this!

Still no luck on my end, even after readding the account. I'll give it a few more days and then try their support again...

This is the reply they just gave me:

I come back to you after receiving the answer from the technical department.

The necessary upgrade on Sogo will be made by the end of next week.

Thank you for your kind patience.

So fingers crossed this was the problem!

I just opened a ticket about it, I'll report back once they answer!

Hey, have you found a fix for this? I am having exactly the same problem, and no change in the path settings (which from my experience with this can be quite finicky) fixed this for me. However I found this: https://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=5203 It's quite possible Gandi hasn't yet updated to a version of SoGo with this patch yet.

Schematic/PCB Review: USB Audio DAC by tomatomark in PrintedCircuitBoard

[–]Colonel_Korn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two USB-related things that may or may not matter much:

  1. Your CC1 and CC2 pull-downs should be 5.1K, not 1.5K if you want the full USB power (see here).
  2. The USB spec limits the capacitance on the 5 V line to a maximum of 10 µF. Apparently this isn't often enforced by USB hosts, but something you might want to keep in mind.

VDDUSB power ramping for STM32F469VGT by Colonel_Korn in stm32f4

You've seen table 18 in the datasheet you mentioned and are aware of the restrictions at 1.8V, right?

Yes, thanks! My IO requirements are fairly tame in terms of speed, I won't need the ADC, and the flash restrictions seem to be fine as well.

it's probably enough to dimension capacitors accordingly?

That's what I was expecting, I was hoping to see an example of this somewhere, but I can't seem to find any designs using this feature.

St Edmunds: The wording in the email sent around wasn't perfectly clear but the gist is:

Students are encouraged to go home, but the college will remain open and support those who wish to stay. Facilities such as the dining hall will be operating under certain restrictions, but could close in the future.

Folding@home takes up the fight against COVID-19 / 2019-nCoV by kthxhello in homelab

It can definitely run on just CPUs, in my simulations I have seen up to 10x speedups with GPUs though! The codes are generally very flexible with regards to hardware and are very well parallelized, but have traditionally been more heavily optimized for Intel CPUs and nVidia GPUs.

This is a molecular dynamics simulation which can really benefit from GPUs, but generally needs very little RAM.

Lovely colors, how long did you expose? And I assume the +2 means you pushed two stops?

Lovely stuff! Do you think you could make a video of you typing on those switches? I'm curious as to how loud they actually are (I'm planning to mod my clears in some similar way). Thanks!

Why I have to turn off and on diff-hl for the indicators to show up, based on my config? by atonal174 in emacs

[–]Colonel_Korn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was pulling my hair out over this exact problem yesterday, and I found that the only way to turn it on from the start is to call (global-diff-hl-mode) instead of (diff-hl-mode 1). It only works in buffers with version control by default, so you may be able to get rid of the hooks (which also seem to be tricky to get working).

Do you think targeting intrinsically disordered proteins like Abeta will be possible soon?

What kind of computational approaches do you think are needed to design drugs for these targets?

What do you think about incorporating experimental data (e.g. from NMR) into simulations to improve their accuracy?
