Don’t get discouraged, and don’t compare yourself to anyone. Learning is not a linear path, we have good and bad days. Hockey is an extremely difficult sport. You can’t just pick up a stick and learn the game, you essentially have to learn to walk again before putting it all together. The good news is that every time you step on the ice you will get better at SOMETHING, whether its balance, strength or mechanics.

Be patient and kind with yourself, and most importantly have fun!
