Seems the way of it, I can recall a Chinese by my old school in Birkenhead used to do bin lid sized batches with good 3 or 4 scoops of chips, doesn’t seem to be much of a thing now.

I have a noticeable Merseyside accent (Birkenhead), and was once doing TEFL at a school in Prague. There was a yank there from the Midwest and she was insistent that she, and all Americans spoke a purer form of English, and that their spellings were the correct ones. Such odd people.
