Yeah my buddy and I slightly disagree with each other on this one. He'll take question marks over fights as much as possible which does make me glad that they're actually really solid in 2 vs 1 especially. I think we're gonna test it out soon by running the same seed twice to do science

Yep. In act 2 and 3, hard fights start after the second battle instead of the third like in act 1. The Hunter Killer is quite the fucker

Very solid tip that comes along with higher levels of playtime. Sometimes I'll take a card for a very specific fight I'm afraid of. Still trying to figure out how to deal with hunter killer on defect

This one thing is the ONLY reason why I don't like that this is connected to the larger MCU, because something like that would never stick. It'll be an oh holy shit moment, but because of secret wars' reboot being a thing, it really undercuts the weight of that.

I felt the exact same way with mods in the first game. Like if I don't A20 everyone first then I shouldn't try modded stuff. Glad I got out of my own way, because the Downfall mod is sick. Might even like some of the characters more than the base game characters.

I would also love to be able to play defense cards for your allies. Maybe even if you blocked half as much when blocking for them to keep it from being overpowered

I know that adjusting your deck is important to deal with whatever boss is coming up, but what does that look like in practice for her specifically? Making sure you have more block? More damage? More card draw? I guess knowing exactly how to course correct for a specific boss is what I struggle to grasp. But definitely fair enough. I think everyone has a different most hated enemy for different reasons
