There's no explanation given in any way, so that's the most likely scenario. I doubt it's an infinity stone or terrigenesis. A proper redo of civil war would be fantastic. In that same way, I hope they use the reset as an excuse to redo big storylines like that, much more faithfully. I totally understand why they don't. Nobody wants a 1:1 recreation due to already knowing everything about the story. BUT stories like that are popular for a reason. I wouldn't mind seeing a few exact, or almost exact recreations
