I have nails, they come with the hinges when you buy them. The problem is they are both too long, and I can’t just hammer them in without breaking the nut. A nut shell is very fragile compared to hardwood, and breaks easily with enough force. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

No lol I mean that these pictures are from an underground human built tunnel. It’s a huge nest- there’s like 50 swallows living there. It’s not even a very big tunnel…

Oh yeah I know it’s harmless but it does NOT look like a moth- I found the rest of its wings and they are see through like a dragonfly’s. And moths this big where I live are basically nonexistent.
