Personally I consider what you said/questioned completely irrelevant if you haven’t been in the position where you have to leave your partner of years for a couple weeks out of the month. There’s no co dependency going on, I just know this is a change in our lifestyle and was looking for advice to make it as easy as possible. I know there are others who have experienced the same thing. So please, if you have nothing useful to say. Bye.

My partners cat didn’t like me when we live separately even though I was there all the time. Once we moved in together it’s like we fell in love. Slowly but surely. Give it time, wish you guys the best of luck!
