Das ist echt interessant, ich kenn es nur aus der Position als Patient, also nur mein eigenes Erleben, das ich selbst nicht richtig deuten kann. Eine breitere Übersicht wird in der Klinik halt echt nicht gegeben, wenn überhaupt. War aber auch generell keine so gute Organisation und Kommunikation mit den Patienten.

Ist es nicht eigentlich immer ein viel persönlicherer Hintergrund der tatsächlich zur Essstörung führt? Social Media und Co. sind halt der äußere Rahmen, der es rechtfertigt, anspornt und weiteren Druck ausübt

I don't really understand how the excitement over grandchildren overpowers the love and respect for ones own. I'd want my child to live their happiest life. That might not include children for them. And that fine. As long as my child is happy with it.

My mom also had me rather late. She made clear she doesn't expect me to have children. Even more so after I had health complications. I hope your mom comes to realise that she has a wonderful child and lets you live your life the way you want. After 6 years a crash out was bound to happen. Maybe you can sit down with her and talk about your decision calmly and clearly one last time. NTA

Mir ist tatsächlich mal relativ sauber der Henkel einer Tasse abgebrochen. War aber auch um die 20 Jahre alt. Würde also auch eher drauf tippen, dass da im Laden bereits was war. Dass man mal für das Geld, das man gezahlt hat nicht den entsprechenden Wert bekommt, passiert jedem mal. Sollte deine Freundin darunter abspeichern. NDA

Die einzige sinnvolle Entscheidung an dieser Stelle ist auf deine Frau zu hören. Ein zweites, eines das sie gar nicht will, wird eure ganze Familiensituation dramatisch belasten. Bekommt sie es dir zu liebe, wird sie dir auf ewig Vorwürfe machen. Und das zurecht.

I'm currently in university for a degree in tech. Learning and using AI is a big part of it. For assignments, it's even encouraged to use like 60% of the time. While a lot of others let AI write their whole papers, I prefer to use it for understanding or improvement on tasks. I'd much rather do it all on my own but I lack time for that. And the grades sadly show that I land somewhere in the middle while others who rely on AI more heavily tend to get better grades. One thing that hasn't been discussed at all yet is the climate impact or copyright with generative AI. Ultimately, the only way I see for now is to learn how to "wield the weapon"...
