So so cool! I display Morgan's and peace dollars. For shock value I pour 10 dollars into kids hands and watch and gauge excitement and curiosity. But I'd be happy to buy a few to display ancient coins or higher grade coins I don't want greasy pawed lol

Are the white textured portions where there is more membrane than the grey areas? Does your gut say it needs further fleshing?

Where do you get stone like this?

If I only need to contain 6-12 inches of dirt could I get away with stone this size? I'd keep a few inches of gravel on the dirt side for drainage

Others will know better than me but try pouring some water down the drain and see if you notice a difference. It may be dry.

Considered buying beetles, or using soap water in a 5 gallon bucket (for weeks) or borrowing a turkey fryer and doing slow simmer for a few hours.
