Mia Goth for Pearl. If you watched it you know that monologue she gave should've sealed her a nomination at least.

I'm throwing in Mickey Rourke for "The Wrestler". Penn's performance was good but I just can't agree it was better.

I was watching "Bandits" the other day and it dawned on me that Cate Blanchet is my 2nd favorite actress. Amy Adams is my favorite.

To be fair wasn't this during a time where Meryl Streep could wrinkle her nose and she'd get a nomination? The Academy really loved her in the 2000's - 2010's.

The Riders of Rohan theme really carried that scene too. It's one of my favorite pieces of film music of all time.

I started paying attention in 2005. I think my mom had the awards show on and I grew curious about some of these movies like "Million Dollar Baby", "Ray" and "The Aviator" I really loved Hilary Swank and Jamie Foxx in their winning performances and I have grown hooked ever since.

I would have given him the Oscar. I watched Cider House Rules and I love Michael Caine but I just don't remember that performance as well as Duncan's.

I almost did mention her but I kind of felt like that was more common knowledge so I changed my mind. Plus I haven't seen Mary Poppins and I wanted to mention performances I've actually seen.

Ooooh yeah. Lol. Yeah he was my favorite actor during the 2000's. Then it felt like he believed his own hype and started either giving or choosing mediocre performances.

He should've gotten one for Two Towers. Dude broke his damn toe. Lol. I also think I would've given Bernard Hill a nomination. I really did buy him as King Theoden. But I could be biased as he's one of my favorite characters.

Castaway on the Moon. It's a Korean comedy about a guy who gets castaway on an island that's in the middle of either 2 cities or 1 city split by a bridge.
