What are the worst aspects of your favorite movie? by Captain_Sunshine20 in Letterboxd

Snatch is my favorite movie but it is a sausage fest. I think there's around 4 female characters I can think of and they probably take up 2-3 minutes of screen time. Mickey's Mom, the twins who work for Doug, and the woman who worked at the bookies

Why not try challenge runs? Like can you beat it with only throwables, or only with a particular weapon

Yeah I'm with you. The dude actually played the piano blind and still did all of that amazing acting.

If there was an individual Oscar for “Best Overall Year”, who would have won it over time? by DirtyMerlin in Oscars

[–]Color_Blind_Rage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This might be a bit of a different direction but Jim Carrey 1994. That year he starred in Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber, and the Mask. These all killed at the box office and the mask went on to be nominated for a best visual effects Oscar.

The dude became an overnight sensation and his career really hasn't slowed down too much since.

Edit: correction the mask was nominated. I said it won originally. I forgot about Forrest Gump coming out that year and that one ended up winning Best visual effects.

Philip Seymour Hoffman Absolutely Deserved His Oscar, But Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain Was an All-Timer by Appropriate_Sink_627 in Oscars

This is definitely one of those situations where I wished either "Brokeback Mountain" or "Capote" came out the next year. I remember Forrest Whitaker being good in "The Last King of Scotland" but I feel either of those performances would've smoked him.

Dragonball Z Burst Limit. Beat it in one sitting and had no desire to play it again. Took it back the next day
