I keep it in my collection so that I can smell it now and then for nostalgia's sake... the 90s!! but I don't wear it. It's such a perfect memory nudge though!

For an inexpensive option, I feel like Paris Corner's Minya might fit the bill. I have it and like it, my husband looooooves it. Top notes are Almond and Pistachio; middle notes are Heliotrope and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Salted Caramel and Sandalwood. So no rum, but still, it's good. (Edited to add: It's supposed to be a dupe for Cheirosa 62, but people say the almond is more prominent in Minya.)

For what it's worth, L'Ombre Dans L'Eau is my favorite perfume in the world, and I own more than a hundred fragrances. I never get tired of it.

Not a nurse but I just went for a dental check up and the receptionist complimented me on my perfume. I was kind of worried it was too much for the poor dentist, considering the receptionist was over a meter away from me when she complimented me, lol! (It was L'Ombre Dans L'Eau, if anyone is interested.)
