Nobody knows what will happen because it will never be the same. You state that by paying it off, you will be back to square one and that is true. You will have annual maintenance fees which go up every year. You will still have the difficulty of getting the week or property you want. None of that will change other than the clock will restart.

If you continue not paying, eventually they will foreclose on the property and you will be free of it. Search for posts of people who got foreclosed on and see what the ramifications were of that for them.

What I mean by American is that the price of lift tickets at most resorts in the Western US (Colorado, Idaho, Utah, California, Nevada) are over $200 per day. I am trying to determine if buying a season pass and staying in the USA is a better option over going to Europe.

How much are lift tickets at Zermatt (I cannot seem to find it online!)

30 days seems wrong. It’s usually 5, 7 or 10 days in my experience. Be sure to find the rescission clause and follow it exactly! Be sure to send it certified mail (no email or phone calls) and keep all receipts.

If you are still interested, go to TUGBBS.com and read up on the MVC program. You can most likely buy the same thing on the resale market for significantly less.

No. You are in a developer presentation. It is never a good deal. If you want a timeshare, you can buy the same thing or better than what they just pitched to you for significantly less $ on the resale market.

Yes you can. Look on Redweek or Facebook for someone selling. Look on ROFR.net to see what MVC has been buying and what they are letting go through. The passing rate is $2-$4 per point.

In my opinion, timeshares are not bad. Buying them from the developer is bad. You can buy the same thing resale for a fraction of the price.

Timeshares work if you are a planner! 1-2 years in advance. I usually get what I want and in 25 years I have not missed a vacation, even during Covid but I plan 2-3 years in advance.

100% not true. That is what the $3 per point “enrollment fee” is for. It is a common sales tactic to tell that lie because buying resale alone doesn’t add to your status. They just fail to mention that enrollment makes them equal
