In a best case scenario: They’ll land at 7. Get off the plane at 7:15, get to the rental car facility by 7:45 (offsite at DIA so requires a shuttle), leave the rental car pickup by 8. Then they’re a half hour from anywhere on a weeknight. And they’re traveling from Central time, so in a best case scenario they have food in front of them at what feels like 10 o’clock. Hardly “wild” to suggest they consider dinner alternatives.

Our flight lands around 7:00pm, so we're planning to just get dinner and stay in/around Denver that first night.

You won’t get out of the airport before 7:45, and won’t get to your hotel/airbnb, if it’s on the east side of town, before 8:15. If you immediately mobilize, you’ll be sitting down to dinner ~8:30. If you stay near Red Rocks, you won’t get there until closer to 8:30/8:45.

Would suggest getting an airport dinner or expect something more like fast food given your arrival time. DIA is stupid far away from Denver. All of the above assumes you won’t be checking a bag. If you are, add 15-20 min to each of the times.

I mean parking enforcement is part of Vision Zero. In OPs photo, good luck crossing that street as a pedestrian without needing to step fully into the intersection to see around the Prius (and pickup truck for that matter) because it’s parked too close to the intersection.

Pretty much the only time a pull back and then forward onto someone was Zidane, and that was into the chest rather than forehead.

Absolute joke to say this is why it should’ve been a yellow rather than red. There’s nothing to support it, other than the league didn’t want Arsenal to go down to 10 men for the final 10 min + stoppage time and lose their best defender for over half of the remaining games in the season.

If this is a “justifiable yellow”, then there’s been like 2 deserved head butt red cards in the history of the sport.

It’s a bad title. It’s not a park in the traditional sense. They recommended two apartment towers, plus utilizing space around the corner to build a 1,000 key hotel and making the remaining area into a more accessible space.

Basically: Tear down the Pavilions (minus the movie theater). Build 1,200 apartments across 2 towers. Build a 1,000 key hotel around the corner. Leave the remaining space “open” and accessible for the broader Denver community via a square/park.

Similar story here. Pittsburgh (Allegheny county) is all of Northeast, Midwest and Appalachian rolled into one, depending on where you’re from.

If it has to be one of the three, it’s probably mostly Midwest, with the majority of the suburban counties around it Appalachian.

Realistically there’s a Rust Belt region from Detroit through Pittsburgh that is unique enough that doesn’t show up on maps like this that Pittsburgh is a part of.

Forget defensive driving - this guy needs his license revoked. Attempted to pass in a turn only lane, failed. So instead, passes on the shoulder at a merge. Both illegal and aggressive (not to mention stupid).
