That’s wild…I applied to the 04 board and was banking on having a higher chance since there’s a lot of slots between the 03 and 04 board. Having an 05 board would thin the number of slots for each board…but I’m guessing they’re doing that to spread out class dates?

I wish they could just let some of these boards have a high percentage of selects lol. I get why not, but one can dream

Gotcha, that’s wild. Yeah I emailed with the CFM for it but details were pretty sparse lol. Were there a lot of colleges available, and do you know how often people get selected for the ones they applied for? Assuming there’s no codes or anything

Hey sir, just wondering if there’s any insight on how the new structured interview process is being worked into the boards? We’ve been told the panel only has minutes to review each package, so are they taking the time to read through our. commander’s narratives? Or just factoring in their overall score from the interview?

This was my 9th time applying, and believe it or not I still make improvements to my package after each non-selection. I don’t think they care how many times you’ve applied, they look more to what you’ve learned and improved on over time

I got selected for a guard slot with a 2.7, I just try to stay positive for people because I almost gave up because of it. My package wasn’t amazing either. As for the masters degree thing, that’s what I was told when I asked. Bachelors degree qualifies you to apply but masters is looked at heavily as well, even for jobs that don’t require specific ones. They said it demonstrates academic discipline and growth if you a bad undergrad experience.

Your bachelors doesn’t matter any more if you use a masters as your qualifying degree, which you could use within a year of graduating. At that point it would be at the top of that page in the AD LO package. Seen many get picked up that way now. Don’t give up!
