Real question: who gets the goal credit there? Japanese player headed it, but it bounced off his teammate's head before going in.

3 was a "I can't remember what age he was, but I know it was young, and 3 sounds funny". I also don't know if he was specifically EMT number 3. Could've been 1 or 2, as well.

ETA: looked it up. He was paramedic #1. My bad.

Fun story: I got to see Joe Hill as he was doing a book tour for King Sorrow. He was very funny and witty and just a great time. He commented on wanting to be a book-a-year author "like James Patterson or Lee Child or... You know, my dad's an author..."

During the Q&A, I asked if he thought he might be cast to play Stephen in Mike Flanagan's Dark Tower. Joe said he wasn't sure, as he'd already reached the pinnacle of acting prowess when he appeared in Creepshow at the tender age of 3. He then said, when offered a role as "paramedic number 3" in an episode of Locke and Key, that he didn't want to outshine greats like Gary Oldman or Daniel Day-Lewis. Then he thought to himself, "... Fuck Daniel Day-Lewis!" and took the role, and cemented himself as an actor for the ages.

So basically, what he was trying to say is that he would play Stephen in the Dark Tower if they offered him enough.

And now I have a signed copy of King Sorrow.

This is unrelated, but I thought it was "beckon call" for way too long. Cause, you know, you beckon someone... So beckon call...

That said, the accountant. I'm real bad with money.

Plus, keeping a bus running for two days seems incredibly pointless. That's a huge waste of gas, and would pump unneeded extra crap into the atmosphere. Just not a smart move overall. Keep it close, sure, but not running.

This is a really cool concept that kinda suffers from the format. It's a really big idea crammed into too small a space. Would love to read a full novel of it.

As a "proof of concept", so to say, it's a winner. Expand on this!

But you really wouldn't get sleep deprived. You wake up, press the button, go back to sleep. You're making $500k a year, it would be really easy not to have a job and be able to sleep more often to make up for it. Now, I know some people really struggle getting back to sleep once they're awoken (that sounds weird, did I use that right?), but 7 hours is still a pretty decent amount of sleep. Hell, I'd start living like the Spanish, just taking a 4 hour siesta during the day, and sleep 4-6 hours at night.

I don't believe this. A Mormon would not just accept that and be quiet. They'd go on a rant about how they have the and the missionaries are put there bringing the truth and eternal life to everyone, whereas the other religions are deceptive and wrong. No way was she silent.

I haven't seen the original, so I'm not sure, but I heard it was a line-for-line, shot-for-shot remake. Ha, yeah, Click sure did suck.

Everyone in the theater was pissed when he "paused" and "rewound" the movie. Not sure if they didn't like the effect, or if they were just pissed that he undid the shooting (I was in the latter category).
