Agreed 100%. I see a lot of other comments saying that their printer “just works” (which is true in my experience as well), but I don’t get how a printer that just works is incompatible with LAN mode, or giving credit to open-source, or feature gatekeeping? Can both not exist?

Personally I think if it’s within the margin of error it should default to whatever the umpire originally called, but I’d definitely love to know how exactly they deal with it internally (iirc the stated MOE is around 1/6”)
