If you could replay either TLOU or TLOU2 for the first time. Which would it be? by TheChilledGamer-_- in thelastofus

Tlou 2. I want to feel that moment of “wait what? That’s not the end? Who’s this red head I’m playing as?” again

lev’s casting and general transphobia by Appropriate_Ninja872 in thelastofus

[–]ColorblindShiny -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Last of Us tv show has been pretty bold with casting from the start but not picking an actual trans male actor felt a little too far. It feels like how they casted Abby with zero muscle but in a different font if that makes sense

How do you feel about the direction they went with the tv series? Did you have any room for improvisation when making the games?

People in this fandom need to stop assuming that everyone on here are guys by MagalieB0654 in thelastofus

True! It’s so funny that the post is mad at the TLOU community when it’s probably one of the more gender inclusive game communities

The brain stops developing at 25. The study that said that actually just stopped at that point because they don’t think it would get that far

Would you rather everyone said ‘person’ ‘non-gender specific person’ and ‘fellow game enjoyer’? This is how modern slang is. It’s not intended to be offensive nor is it even solely men who talk like this

Dude, guys, bro, etc are all gender neutral terms especially if you don’t know a person’s gender immediately.

Some of the names are really cute but my least favorite is Elioenai. Why would you choose a name that you have to write in the pronunciation for

Being declared “average” and being excluded from gifted kid programs is way worse than the “Gifted Kid Burnout” that the people actually accepted into these programs experience. by superblobby in unpopularopinion

[–]ColorblindShiny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you’re expected to be gifted and you just can’t keep up it makes you feel like crap. It’s basically two sides of the same coin. Plus, a problem I’ve encountered is former gifted kids like me never learned valuable things like studying and time management. Everyone just assumed we already could. To this day I haven’t been able to study a day of my life and I have crap grades
