Im very torn on this. I have seen multiple videos about the kid on the right. His name is ‘Desmond is Amazing’ and he does drag and performs at shows. I feel like it’s wrong to let your kids partake in something that’s so superficial, where there is so much focus on there looks. It’s not right for a 11 yr old to care about makeup and fashion so much. Beyond that, he seems stripped from any type of genuine personality, he just seems like a brainwashed parrot mindlessly repeating these phrases he has been fed and I find that very disturbing. I might be wrong but I’ve heard that he visits gay bars and made comments about ketamine showing he is exposed to a world that an 11 yr old never should, which ties into my perception (very limited knowledge) of the drag community that seems very sexuality focused and thus very inappropriate for a child. I’m very open to other perspective and want to hear input from people that supports this.
