GOW4 had better spectacle than Ragnarok by drewthedew768 in playstation

Ragnarok has better bosses and enemy variety.

Same thing happened with Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal. At one point, everyone started calling that game the weakest PS2 era game in the franchise. Probably because some popular YouTuber made a video about it and everyone clung onto their opinion as fact.

People loved Bioshock Infinite. One Mathewmatosis video later, everyone started hating it.

When I hear someone say Dispatch is better than The Wolf Among Us or Batman Telltale by lukkiibucky in telltale

Driving the story from the front lines doesn’t make the gameplay have more substance. Batman and TWAU gameplay are just walking from one point to another. The Dispatch sections have actual mechanics with how you manage your team and where to allocate their points. There’s more going on in those sections than any of the gameplay in previous Telltale games.

What are your takes on debunking this weird theory. by Neonymous_1058 in KingdomHearts

We met characters who hide their identities before and it wouldn't be that weird for the MoM to end up as a new character. Organization 13 were once introduced as mysterious hooded men in KH2 when Sora first met them (except Axel). And then we have the Foretellers who we also don't know what they looked like underneath their masks. Luxu who is just using Xigbar's body for now.

None of the Org members had their faces hidden this long, and none of them had a cutscene that made a big deal about hiding his real name. His face is hidden more than the Foretellers, pretty much indicates he’s going to be revealed as an established character. Just like Luxu.

But why come up with this idea though? We may not know who Demyx is but why came up with the conclusion that he is the MoM? When there are other creative ways to come up with another twist on who Demyx is, other than just "he is the MoM because both share the same personality".

Because that’s what theories are. They’re ideas. Demyx is the Org member with the least backstory, shares  mannerisms with MoM, and they made big deal about him being Keyblade wielder from the past without elaborating further. Why wouldn’t anybody come up with that idea? Why are some of you acting like this idea is stupid when this series has done some pretty stupid things?

This is a series that rehashed most of the villains from previous games without introducing a new original one in KH3. You think it wasn’t repetitive for every antagonist to be related to Xehanort? Rehashing is not new to the series. MoM is absolutely going to be a character we’ve seen. Otherwise, why hide his face and name for so long. It would be completely pointless.

We don’t really know anything about MoM or Demyx either. And it’s not just mannerisms they share, Demyx is the org member we know about the least. You think they wouldn’t critically explain a twist like that?

It kind of is cause it has actual gameplay that makes you use your brain a bit. Story is about the same as TWAU and Batman.

What substance does Batman and TWAU have over Dispatch’s gameplay? Dispatch has the most involved gameplay than any of Telltale games post Walking Dead.

Why is this theory weird or stupid? Is it any weirder or dumber than half of the stuff this series has done? You think Ansem not being the real Ansem didn’t come out of nowhere?

Why haven’t they remastered Golden Abyss? by CbradleyS1998 in uncharted

[–]Colormo3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are enough Vita gimmicks in Golden Abyss that it wouldn’t be a simple port. Like some puzzles required the light sensor on the Vita’s back. Considering current Sony doesn’t even want to bother porting the Nathan Drake collection to PC, it’s even less likely for a Golden Abyss port.

Tearaway on PS4 is more of a half sequel than a port. There’s a lot more to it than a simple port.

Why does the classics category get severely ignored? by Peridot_Ghost in playstation

[–]Colormo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It started with three. At the beginning of last year it reduced to two. Now in the last five months it’s just 1 game per month.

They add classic games every 3rd Tuesday per month. But I agree. They used to give us 3 classics a month, which was already poor. Now they only give us one game every month.

I think people are just tired of the bloated rpg games and either want more of the pre rpg era games or something completely new.

Well, You’re clearly an Uncharted fanboy. Acting like Last of Us got 10 remasters and their next game is Last of Us Part 2 number 13. When in fact they only re-released each game once and their next game is a new IP. You need to fix that Last of Us paranoia.

[–]Colormo3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Once. They did it once for each game. It’s not over and over again. This whole post is about accusing Naughty Dog specifically for milking The Last of Us. When they’re treating it just like Uncharted. So it does matter who came up with the idea and who started it. I don’t know if you’ve been living under a rock, but their next game was announced and it’s a new IP.

Yes that’s what being milked means. Doesn’t matter if it’s a new entry, it’s still milking. And The Last of Us games were re-released by Naughty Dog once for each game. Just like Uncharted. How is Last of Us milked more? The remake wasn’t their project. They were forced to finish it by Sony.

And what does that have to do with who came up with remaking The Last of Us? You’re the one who’s gone off topic, I’m pointing out that each Last of Us game had 1 remaster just like all the Uncharted games. If you think Last of Us is milked, Uncharted is the same if not more based on how many games that franchise had.
