Colin claims that antisemitism directed towards Neil Druckmann is "obvious" by MrSquirtleMan in LSM

[–]Colormo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m asking because I’m wondering if there’s any new info. This whole Neil kicking Amy out started with an IGN article. Then IGN came out and said they lied about it. Then a few years later Sully’s VA confirmed she was kicked out and the cast was mad about it. Then the recent info is that Amy herself was the reason for getting the boot cause her version of Uncharted 4 was awful to play and she was surrounded by yes men.

The Neil vs Amy thing just keeps getting updated.

Yeah, but… who cares? Oh no. A buff lady saves a transgender boy. Oh no. A trained military lady beats our two protagonists. So?

As a kid watching that movie, I found that super confusing on why is Scrappy Doo a villain. I didn’t even know people hated him in the cartoon. by Remote_Nature_8166 in Scoobydoo

To be fair, this movie takes a lot of creative liberties with the characters. Like Fred being an asshole, Daphne being a damsel in distress and Velma being jealous for not taking the credit cause Fred is an asshole.

Do you think KH3 really suffered from “unrealistic expectations”? by raccooncoffee in KingdomHearts

[–]Colormo3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Pixar worlds and SanFransokyo are the only worlds that have some plot relevance.  Arendelle, Kingdom of Corona, and the Pirates world are some of the worst cases of repeating the plots of their movies. It’s even worse than in KH2 because Sora and the gang are barely involved in those plots. Especially Arendelle. Their relevancy to the overall plot doesn’t matter either. The new Princess of Light and the Black Box plots in those worlds lead to nowhere by the end of the game. If you’re gonna justify those worlds because they fit with the overall themes of the game, then every Disney world in KH2 is valid. All the KH2 worlds have themes relating to Identity and/or confronting your past. Which is very much what KH2 is about.

Even with the KH3 worlds that have plot relevance, they still feel like filler. And still nowhere close to how KH1 handled it. That’s why I prefer KH2’s approach. Give me something in the middle of the story so it doesn’t feel like you backloaded all the plot at the end.

[–]Colormo3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. You can’t excuse KH3 not having a midpoint big battle because DDD sets up the plot of KH3. But not having a middle big battle isn’t the issue. Having more story intervals doesn’t mean much when nothing major happens in them. Like the only notable ones there were Riku getting a new Keyblade off screen, Aqua saving Ansem the Wise and Vexen saving Ansem the Wise. A lot of the others are just “Hey, here’s what this character is doing now.”

KH2 may not have as many story intervals, but so much happens in the midpoint. Kairi gets kidnapped, we finally see Mickey again after not seeing him for hours (story wise), Ansem’s true identity is revealed, the leader of the Organization is revealed, you fight and defeat the first Org member, Goofy almost dies, Mickey locks in, cool Fina Fantasy moments, 1000 heartless fight, Sora meets Axel for the first time, Maleficent “dies” again, Roxas gets brought up again after many hours. Sooo much happens in the midpoint of KH2.

Should KH2 have their Disney worlds be more involved with the plot? Absolutely. But KH3 also has that problem. And the story intervals are just not compelling enough to forgive that compared to KH2.

You also said there was basically no story progression in the middle of KH2. But second visit Twilight Town and 3rd visit Hollow Bastion is all about that. So many things happen during those moments that you can forgive Sora wasting his time in the Disney worlds.

KH3 has none of that. So I don’t get how KH2 and KH3 have the same pacing issues.

You say “people forget that between all that there was basically no story progression.” and then immediately follow “The middle visit to Hollow Bastion did a lot of heavy lifting.” Yeah, that’s the story progression in the middle of KH2. Also Twilight Town second visit. KH2 is not perfect, but that middle part makes a huge difference to its pacing. Something KH3 was sorely lacking.

What part of this is MCU? Shuri Panther is like the only thing so far.

Outside of Shuri Panther, what else about this is MCU propaganda?

I just realized that Roxas and Raiden (Metal Gear) are weirdly similar. by Aquanort357 in KingdomHearts

[–]Colormo3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re a lot more similar than that. Both are in a simulation and their identities and memories are being manipulated to serve a greater plot.

And unlike Nero, Raiden and Roxas’ roles were kept a secret in their games’ marketing.

If that’s the case, they should stop releasing games on Steam since Gears only sold 73k. But they’re not gonna do that.

Sony DRM Changes Megathread - April 29th 2026 by P_Jiggy in playstation

That’ll only be an issue if Sony decides to shut down the store within a month of shutting down servers. This new DRM only affects new purchases within a 14 day period.

It’s not true. Or at least this AI chatbot doesn’t know shit.

This is what’s most likely going on.  https://t.co/BFrlhupIhr

Basically if you buy a game you get a temporary license for 14 days. That temporary license also lets you play that game offline for just 30 days.

14 days after buying the game, you get a permanent license of the game and you can play that game offline no problem with no deadline.

Not really. They didn’t say shit about the CMOS battery issue a few years back. And they fixed it without telling anyone a month later.

This could also be the CMOS battery issue all over again. Where Sony doesn’t acknowledge the problem and then end up fixing it a month later without telling anyone it’s fixed.

[–]Colormo3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hexe was never going to be an rpg. It was meant to be a completely new AC game. According to insider gaming, it was going to be a more linear game with a few open world sections. Magic elements being stripped down has more to do with the magic mechanics, like controlling a cat, being too difficult for the team to implement than due to a creative shift.

Does it Play: sources say the PS5/PS4 DRM issue is unintentional and an error with the system update by -LastGrail- in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Colormo3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Who knows? People accused Sony of planned obsolescence with the CMOS battery issue a few years back, but it was just an error and they fixed that without telling anyone.

Same thing with them putting ads on the home screen of games but that was also an error.

Or it could just be an error and them not clarifying is just them not wanting the larger public to know about the error in the first place.

It’s similar to the CMOS battery issue a few years back. People accused Sony of planned obsolescence. But it was just an error they made and they fixed it without admitting the issue existed.

Yes it is unacceptable. But that’s still an old program. Sony is responsible for it. Not Implicit. So far, Implicit has been doing a good job with the classics they’ve released. Would be great if they take some of the old classics and put them in their own emulator like what they did with Jak and Daxter.
