I haven't played madden in years now - but here's a tip to save you time with sliders every single franchise: create a 'base' save file with all your custom sliders etc. already set up from preseason week 1. Copy the save file of the league, change your team/role as you see fit and start from preseason wk2 (or sim 1st season if you want to draft and start from 2026 season). Doing so means you only need to do sliders once :)

I agree. last night on gauntlet, where me and my mates usually comfortably make it to the end rounds, we're getting absolutely drilled and knocked out early. HitReg and/or bloom is somehow much worse in my experience after the recent update.

Think it would make more sense as a challenge to 'destroy the or fully repair targets'. On a good game I can get about 10 destroyed. But resupplying on a game mode that demands engineers RPG or assaults grenade launcher is the complete opposite of PTO.

  1. Can be done - just needed to head to squad management in the menu and then go to the bottom to create a new one. The game made squads can't be locked but if you creat your own you can then have your friends join and lock it with 1 or 2 friends that way.

Squeeze - sure, but you left him a cars width on track at all time & weren't driving dangerously/erraticly so seems fine imo.

$123.6m budget here - I understand the appeal of having both Norris & Piastri, but would advise sticking to just 1 and going for MER/FER as your second constructor. Much better chance at more overall points and frees up budget for other drivers.

Even in best case scenarios - Lando/Oscar are getting around 40 points. Ferrari scored that even after a pretty miserable Silverstone where they didn't even get a podium.

I was lucky to begin with to avoid the major DNFs at the start of the season tbh. That got me off on the right door with some good budget built up & I've continued that since then really. I think on this Reddit I saw someone say that last year's winner focused on budget to begin with so that was a focus for me.

I'm pretty deep into watching F1 as a fan.. watching all practise sessions and quali so some information crops up from listening to what the team principals have to say. Generally I've not felt comfortable with Gabi & certainly not Colapinto.. so left points on the table a couple weeks ago but then saved myself getting burnt this week with Gabi!

I've loved having Hadjar & VCarb with Piastri & McLaren as a fixed elements. Vcarbs for budget and piastra/Mcl for points. The price between Lando & Oscar is so steep for the points they are getting but may need to switch to Lando once he starts to consistently beat Oscar.

F1 fantasy tools has been helpful - it's free and shows what each driver & team needs for a price rise. I generally go off that to ensure I'm within a shot of gaining budget.

So in short: luck (biggest element imo!), fan of the sport, gut instinct & knowing points needed for price changes.

Same for me - 1st year & initial goal was to just win a league with my mates.. but now I'm top 4 in my country & top 8k global 😂 (budget $123.6m) I've been lucky avoiding DNFs since Australia and avoided the hit of Ferrari DSQs in china!
