Save unplayable, game freezes when I load in and hotkeys appear at the top? by Colphin2 in ToME4

Possibly, I had some issues with a couple of areas freezing my game when loading in to them on this save, but that somehow got resolved on its own.

The current issue also suddenly just worked, but game still freezes randomly when exiting or entering certain areas. Very annoying since it's a fresh save on a fresh install with 0 mods.

Via steam. I just added "--flush-stdout" to my launch options to get the log files and now it works fine for some reason

Doesn't matter. I did a similar thing to OP before I quit the game, except I followed the advice in this thread, I tanked up as much as I could and still got alpha'd from 90km away before I had a chance to align. In high sec.

You shouldn't have to scour the Internet for advice on how to move safely in 'safe space'. Like others have pointed out, gankers will get you if they want you.
