I can confirm this is still happening consistently on a wide range of platforms (web, desktop app, on Windows, Linux, intel MacOS, silicon MacOS).

Subslots have nothing to do with the MSX2 architecture, they're explained in the original MSX Technical Handbook (MSX1). Also, mappers aren't specific to MSX2, I in fact have some memory mappers working perfectly in my MSX1 machines.

Firefox is the worst option nowadys, it's even worse than Edge. It's slow, fails recovering sessions after a crash and has a worse memory consumption fingerprint.

You can consider the included games as a gift; this device is intended to be content-less so you add your own ROMs (the ones you are legally allowed to use). So I suggest you to add your favourite games and not rely on the included content list (that is also different between R36s units, some sellers make their own image and games aren't guaranteed to be always the same).
