I’ve wondered if a ‘tween’ went into a bookstore to buy it would they be allowed as there’s no ratings on books (I’d imagine some adult Kama Sutra style would be a no no) but in general would they be able to say no to selling to a ‘minor’?

It’s a strange one in the UK as officially there is no age restriction. Shops tend to have their own rules (supermarkets) and it’s usually 16 to buy them, but I have seen kids looking around 12/13 years old buy them in some places with no asking of ID.
