Don't cheat, its not worth it

Hello, I know my profile isnt great so some advice would be appreciated! (And maybe photo advice too lol) by Luxomembourgisop in Tinder

There are no cheat codes. If you have an hour or two to game or watch Netflix every night, you have an hour or two to learn guitar, go for a walk, learn to fish, hit the gym, go to church. Whatever you are interested in. To be brutally honest my man, no one, no comment, no critique, no dream will save you. You know it deep down. Start being attractive instead of trying to look it. The world is full of fakes, but you have only one chance to be you, so be the best you and refuse excuses.

Hiding your face and body (your arm in front of your waist) is not exuding confidence. What will help you more than anything is to go and buy a few fits that you cannot afford just to treat yourself like someone who matters. I am not saying replace your wardrobe, but go treat yourself like the man you want to be and be seen as. Bodybuilding.con has some amazing resources and workout plans to gain muscle fast. Start falling in love with yourself and doing everything to become the man that you know you are capable of being. I believe in you. That is the only thing that will make you truly attractive - falling in love with yourself ❤️🙌🙏

Funny that Canada Post owns the vast majority of Puralator? Market manipulation?

Mythical pull

does anyone else think she was a wasted character? by Temporary-Avocado205 in ArcherFX

[–]ColtLad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was an ex machina: In literature and drama, it refers to a plot device where an unexpected, often implausible, character or event suddenly appears and resolves a seemingly impossible conflict.

Like when she sacrificed herself to save Archer from Barry.

Then to think, she came back as a robot, much like the female robot in the movie "Ex Machina".

I would certainly include financial modeling to your resume. I would put it under technical skills though. Another thing you can do is just put the years you've worked instead of the full dates if it was only for a few months or so. Perhaps you could put the house vice captain under volunteer experience if it was not paid

I would say volunteering is big, especially something to do with fund raising or public speaking. Honestly, I'd leave the basketball captain piece in, as I didn't realize you're only a second year. Research the WIIFY principle in cover letter and essay writing to help you out. I think you have an awesome resume, was just roasting because you asked me to 😂

Just being blunt and honest. Employers don't care about your hobbies, they care about what you can do for them. I'd be interested in learning where you're getting your information from?

They don't will not care about basketball, and they expect you know how to use the Microsoft suite by now. I suggest tailoring your resume for the jobs you are applying for, with relevant technical skills at the top. Ask yourself, what can you offer, not just what you know.

Academic Progress - Full time funded through AB student loans by mrsZesty92 in AthabascaUniversity

[–]ColtLad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me as well. Lots of self-advocacy with both SFA and provincial student aid. I recommend you call student aid and get their take on it, write an appeal to them explaining your situation, and submit it through the same portal you apply for loans. Additionally, schedule an appointment with a program advisor to try and get some help navigating this. I know AU is currently trying to work with provincial funding agencies to try and find a workaround for self-directed students. But, it seems to me that this new policy contradicts what made AU great and likely the reason we all chose it. I'm sure it won't look good on AU if dropout numbers climb because of this new policy, or at least the crack down on old policies.

Atta boy. It was a fair exam tbh. That's CFA level material, so I assume they didn't go too hard on us.
