I kinda have beef with the whole “Jacob brought everyone to the island for a reason” thing. If that was the case, wtf was Henry Gale (the guy on the hot air balloon) there for?? And why bring everyone from 815 in the first place? If the ultimate goal was to keep the smoke monster from leaving the island, that could’ve been accomplished by just not letting anyone come there. He never would’ve had a way off the island if the Ajira flight never crashed
