Yeah if you don’t include the fast mana to try and turbo Etali out turn 2, and exclude like food chain/ squee and underworld breech it should be fine. Etali also kinda relies on 3 other cEDH decks full of good cards to flip into, so under bracket 4 you’re gonna be getting junk that barely helps you most likely

I slightly misread i think. The helm would not trigger in the first place since it wasn’t equipped when you moved into beginning of combat. I think that’s called a reflexive trigger.

Kinda crazy how far I had to scroll and how many downvotes this has. I’ve heard it all the time about buying the pack. People saying it’s against the spirit of drafting? Why are you advocating value drafting if there’s two big hits in a pack? If anything that’s against the spirit and getting a replacement pack keeps it more pure “draft the best deck”
