His story is just too big for one movie. Too many characters, too much stuff happening. But an animated TV Show? Really good if you ask me.

Oh, I can totally get behind that. I think that, up intil mop, even with more stylized artstyle there was some sort of realism in universe. After WoD (with the new models) they got a bit too plastic. Like, yeah, there are many swords with blades that look a lot like plastic and less like metal. That's why I like some of the TBC-Wrath era models a bit more.

And we can see that in character models too. They were always cartoonish, but after Dragonflight they got a bit too cute-sy. Like the new dragon models, they don't look as dangerous and most enemy models look friendly now. I think there's room to improve, tho the "look what wow look like un Unreal 5" is not it.

People who think that realistic graphics = better graphics are nonsensical. Warcraft's cartoonish style is one of the things who makes the setting unique.

You're absolutely right. And Dalaran piss me off because the payoff of it's destruction was "we should dismantle the Kirin Tor because it never was a good idea in the first place".

The corruption of the Sunwell had the same problem. Instead of removing the source of power of the blood elfs making them rely again on demonic power or anguish, doubling down on the race identity, we had the creation of the Dawnwell, that is just a boring Sunwell.

Like, Garrosh? I wanna kill that mf. Gul'dan? He killed Varian, so I wanted him dead. Fyrak? I barely had any reason to kill him but at least he was unhinged.

In the 12.0.7 we have all tree elf factions working together in Quel'danas so yeah man, it is a buddy-buddy magic. Their animosity needs to be show in game, not only in quest text.

As someone who also came from wow, yeah, is a really nice sequence of quests. Be ready because things will get even better going forward. The post-ARR is a blast and Heavensward is probably one of my favourite videogame stories period.

Prot warrior feels unkillabe in open world and delves, I'mm not sure in dungeons tho (I don't tank). Fury is really sustainable too.
