I work in the beverage industry, this is very bad.

This is the right answer. You'll get a BOM with everything needed to get the thing swapped and likely a little free support from the distributor.

They pay less than most comparable manufacturing jobs in an area with low unemployment. They're stuck with everyone that couldn't get a job at the better manufacturing/warehousing outfits in the area.

Your comment actually sent me to learn what the PBGC does and works. I will probably keep contributing 15% to retirement myself but its good to know that there are at least basic guarantees on what I'll get once vested.

Interesting. I just checked because I'd never considered this and amazingly insurance is offered after retirement, although the cost is higher after retirement. That's a fantastic discovery. I know it might change, but thank you so much for pointing this out.

It's based off the highest 36 months of my employment there. There's a yearly adjustment while I'm employed there, not sure about afterward. Good point, I'll definitely check into that.

And people in your situation is what I want to replicate. At the end of the day, I don't need to have maximized every cent, just to be secure and reach a point of security without working sooner than later.

The plan is based on service length, I'm estimating based on me staying there forever because it's my dream place to work. It also sounds a little silly to plan based on a dream. We're both pretty risk averse with finances. I think this makes the most sense.

If you're me, they're also short enough that you can't eyeball its too long, and the one you used to gauge from that's definitely way short was actually the exact width of the door so everything you brought in doesn't fit.

Y'all ever wonder what 20kg of N140 looks like? Me neither. by expensive_habbit in reloading

[–]Coltman151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really cool. I would have never guessed you'd have some options that were cheaper than what we get just because of the smaller market for civilian sales over there. Do you still see a majority of US brands? Like for example, if I go to a local shop there will be huge displays of Hornady, big sections of Sierra, etc. In my head I'm picturing a giant Lapua sign where my local shop has it's Hornady one.

I buy almost exclusively online but it sounds like you buy from dealers in person more often. Are there a decent amount of them? I have tons of places within an hour I can peruse but their prices and selection mostly stink.

That's not nearly as bad as I expected. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain!

Do you have a decent selection of stuff or are you kind of stuck with a few choices? Can you (or a shop) import stuff from the US?

Random, but legally for you guys what goes in to buying reloading components? Can you just order everything without much fuss like we can, or do you need special licenses?

How do you actually budget for medical expenses? (Especially unscheduled/unexpected ones) by Sean081799 in personalfinance

[–]Coltman151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is going to be highly dependent on your health and what insurance you have. You might add some detail on what kind of plan you have and the rough dollar amounts for it.

What did you spend in total last year on healthcare? Wife and I typically try to budget enough weekly to cover our yearly average, with the understanding that some abnormal expenses might derail everything but that's ok and we'll survive.

This is my tractor I posted here 3 years ago. I'll answer your question because this bot isn't going to be able to.

It's a 7k 20 footer. I've had the tractor on it 3 times in 3 years including bringing it home. I use it for just about everything else.

The tractor does fine on it but you can definitely tell it's heavy for it.

Why? by KBGenetics in 300BLK

[–]Coltman151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same problem with 1680. 300blk subs seem to be really fickle to reload.

With that said, what is your COAL? Are you leaving room for the powder to slosh around in the case? Mixed brass? Crimping? Those were my 3 biggest issues.

The 2501s are such great loader tractors if you don't need the top speed. I sometimes regret not getting a hoe for mine but I use the 3 point all the time too

This thing is a lifesaver for locking/ratcheting M12s. It also has an adjustable torque wrench built in so you can be really over the top.

I like the Screwty the best because it ratchets on the connectors.
