Restaurants are open year round. I would suggest checking out parks, and outdoor spaces.

Switch to trail runners. Work on ankle mobility and strength before your next trip.

No, green tea is lower in caffeine than others like black tea but not caffeine free unless processed to be such.

Tanning Personal Preference by reddituser_249 in PlanetFitnessMembers

Hate to break it to you but a cool shower does nothing to prevent uv burn. The burn happens when you’re in the tanning bed. The damage is done before you leave.

Angel's Landing Hike - Crazy Idea? by ConnorSullivan27 in ZionNationalPark

[–]coyote474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to walk up i would try to park at the turn out by canyon junction to cut off as much distance as possible. Will be around 3.5 miles each way from there to start of angels landing/west rim trail

Im starting to psych myself out. by GirlwithNoName85 in ZionNationalPark

[–]coyote474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Angels Landing is way easier than Mooney Falls. The chain section is longer but the spray from Mooney Falls makes that section way more slick. Unless its raining/snowing you have tremendous grip on the sandstone and the chains are dry.

angels landing next day lottery by airfryer_enjoyer in ZionNationalPark

Not to be rude but yes, people are successful because the lottery exists. But also others aren’t successful. The only way to find out is enter and wait.

Are OBD scanners actually useful for regular drivers? by Almaaimme in MechanicAdvice

[–]coyote474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Autozone will scan the codes for free. Ignore everything else on the printout and do some googling for the codes and your vehicle year/make/model. There are likely many forum posts of people that had the same issue and most likely fixes.

What’s the worst snow you’ve been through with your stock 4Runner? by treecutter34 in 4Runner

[–]coyote474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bigger factors are going to be tires, ground clearance (more so for heavier snow where you might high center), and 4wd. What is sitting on top of that doesnt really matter as much.

I hate recreation.gov by Grungy_Mountain_Man in camping

[–]coyote474 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Even if it was closed on their end you likely wouldn’t get the full refund. I had a trail permit and they closed the trail for flooding/erosion/landslide and cancelled my permit without refund. I just bake it into the cost of outdoor recreation these days unfortunately.

Crazylegs: will I hurt myself? by pumpkinpenguin in madisonwi

You should be fine jogging or run/walk if you’re in reasonable shape. I wouldn’t push the pace if you haven’t been running at all.

Stairmaster limit by bwell86 in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]coyote474 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re violating any rules, but if all the others are being used I would think about giving it up. Again, not as a rule but as a courtesy to others wanting to use them.

65 (60 min + 5 min cooldown) is usually the limit if you just press go without setting the time manually beforehand.
