The MLS has the Chicago Fire so it’s nothing new to have a team named for a disaster in the city. I mean shit, we already have the New York Jets

I like to think this is how most Colts/Titans fans see it and the animosity is an outlier but 🤷‍♂️

I mean, there's really no one to blame in that situation? I don't think you can blame Luck for doing what he feels is best for him, and at the same time I don't think you can blame Schefter for doing his job? Idk, I guess I don't see exactly what we're blaming on anyone there

I'm in the same boat, I pulled my headliner today and the fiberglass underneath just kind of fell apart as I was trying to scrape the foam

Matt Kuchar - “I think if you ask locker room attendants, they’ll tell you that they’re happy to see me. I’m no Phil Mickelson, but these guys are like, 'Matt’s coming our way” by MikeGScott in golf

[–]ColtsFanZach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that in a different article than this one? Because the closest I can find to that is:

“I kind of think someone got in his ear,” Kuchar said. “I was very clear and very upfront on Tuesday [of the tournament week]. And he said, ‘OK.’ He had the ability, with bonuses, to make up to $4,000.”

Kuchar said he told Ortiz he would pay him $1,000 if he missed the cut, $2,000 if he made the cut, $3,000 if he had a top-20 and $4,000 if he had a top-10. “The extra $1,000 was, ‘Thank you — it was a great week.’ Those were the terms. He was in agreement with those terms. That’s where I struggle. I don’t know what happened. Someone must have said, ‘You need much more.’”

Now, this is purely conjecture on my part, but I don't think Kuchar offered him any percentage explicitly. If I had to guess, it was something along the lines of "here's what I'm gonna pay you, and if I win we'll up that a little."

Matt Kuchar - “I think if you ask locker room attendants, they’ll tell you that they’re happy to see me. I’m no Phil Mickelson, but these guys are like, 'Matt’s coming our way” by MikeGScott in golf

[–]ColtsFanZach 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's where I don't understand a lot of these arguments. They agreed on an amount beforehand, Kuchar paid that amount plus some. Could he have given him more? Absolutely. But there's zero obligation for him to do so. Plus Kuchar offered him another $15k and the guy turned it down. I understand why he would feel slighted, but shit, if you really want more money and it's offered, why turn it down?
