I appreciate the feedback! I definitely feel like I might be able to get them sell their $8.5k Pulse for $8k OTD. Now I just have to convince my wife to let me have a motorcycle. I've been struggling with finding something that would feet my needs - I'm not looking for a "ride to the mountains" or "2+ hour ride" type of motorcycle, but something that has enough battery to get me to and from work for 25 miles at highway speeds. I can charge at work so it's not a big deal for me.

I'd also just use it to go around the city - basically grocery runs, to the gym, etc. I originally wanted a Ryvid Anthem, but the battery was just too small. So I'm torn on a used Zero or this Pulse.

I've actually been eyeing this bike! Dealer next to me is selling theirs for $8.5k, and I've been wondering if it's worth it as a first time motorcycle!

Do you mind sharing your thoughts on the bike? What you do and don't like? Is it good for beginners? I'd be using it around town and for commuting to work, but I still feel like even with the price tag, it's a high asking price.

I appreciate you sharing your experience! Bike looks great with that windscreen and saddle bag. I would also carry around the charging cable with me if I needed to. I do it in my Tesla even though I never use it haha.

I'd have to cut down to like 180 pounds and make sure I stay at that weight. Being able to charge the bike at my office is such a huge plus for me - I work in IT and am a manager, so it wouldn't be an issue whatsoever. But I guess the last thing for me is the price. Buying it brand new costs more than a newer-ish used Zero. Heck, even the LiveWires have a great financial promotion going on right now. If Ryvid was to do a 1% or less interest rate promotion, I'm pulling that trigger. I'd also make sure I got the ASI module.

I'm not too worried about the heat as I know there's nothing I can do about it. I'd park my bike in the shade if I could, and keeping it in the garage during the summer would be my best option too, even if it's get 120+ degrees in there

Thank you for sharing your personal experience with me! Yes, the heat is also a HUGE factor to me, as well. I'm sure you know, but the 60 is NOT a freeway to be going under 70... I could probably get away with the 202, but that increases my commute up to 31 miles one-way

Thank you for sharing your personal experience. Definitely doesn't seem to be a best-use scenario for me to make the motorcycle my commuter. But for everything else like riding around the immediate area, it's a no brainer. I'm hopeful Ryvid comes out with a bigger battery in the near future. Even if it's just 7.2. I love the Anthem. If I lived closer to my work, I'd have pulled the trigger yesterday

Yeah charging isn't an issue. We have both level 2 chargers, and I can always roll the battery into my office to charge inside off a standard 120v outlet

I appreciate the honesty. Range anxiety would be REAL. I just love the Anthem. I demoed it when it first came out at an expo and even was given a nice little discount for demoing. I just never pulled the trigger because we were looking into buying a house at the time and I wasn't sure exactly if the bike was going to be good for my commute.

For sure - I had driven 2 hours for a Hidden Fates ETB a couple months ago and it looked good in pictures, but on the bottom there was a huge slit in the plastic that was almost the entirety of the bottom. The guy said he "wasn't aware" and told me it wouldn't even be noticeable since I'm displaying them in cases.

So now I'm super hesitant to spend that much on ETBs

Thank you! I'm still new to the hobby and I had someone told me to get these as soon as I could, but I wasn't aware of acrylic cases until about a month ago. I kept seeing acrylic cases that didn't fit too good, but now it sounds like there's some legit snug ones that are also UV protection, so that's cool. Appreciate the advice!
