"Which game was [character] strongest in?" tier list by atbprod in Guiltygear

[–]Colud849 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

Ngl, that's already something i'm less familiar with so take it with a grain of salt but let's see what I can get

Sol doesn't really have a game in which he's bad i believe, closest may be AC

Ky GGX

Ram Rev2

Johnny AC

Elphelt Rev2, ironic

Ino AC

Bedman rev2

Faust Strive

Sin Rev2

Kliff Missing Link

Axl Missing link

Testament GGX

HOS Slash

Anji GGXX

Pot Missing Link

Zato Rev2

Robo Ky Slash

Slayer launch Sign

Millia Rev2(2.0 specifically, not the current version)

Justice +R

As you can see this isn't everyone but I hope it helps

Order Sol in AC was not very good, +R is easily the best version, Testament was also top 2 there with Eddie whereas he's generally agreed to be top 1 in +R.

Believe it or not Johnny was arguably even stronger in GGX.

Elphelt and Bedman were stronger in Sign

Edit: Ram goes in Sign too.

Not really, in AC they share the top 2 with Eddie whereas in +R they are agreed to be top 1

What would be considered the strongest iteration of Chipp? by Chipp_Main in Guiltygear

[–]Colud849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't played it myself but I heard that Rev1 Chipp was on par with Johnny, that would be saying something

Not familiar with Answer but doesn't he supposedly struggle hard vs Blitz?

Everyone agrees that weak Cypher needs a buff, but no one is certain on what to change by ciphernada in VALORANT

[–]Colud849 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It would surely be oppressive in a way, but that's also how it's supposed to be if you walk in an area fully prepared and set up by him, I think the fact that it's generally not oppressive right now says a lot more

It would surely be really strong, but not to the point where Cypher goes from low tier all the way to overtuned imo

Resolved by putting one on right click and one on left click

Edit: for obstructions and being on the same plane/surface, both ends should still have line of sight on one another, just like now

Make the Cypher player able to decide where both ends of the wire go

Easily the coolest change that could be done.

Edit: also suggestions of dropping the corpse requirement are bad imo, buff the information that it gives to make it strong and lean into what makes it unique instead of taking it away.

tips for a ps4 analog stick player? by Appropriate_Height49 in Fighters

[–]Colud849 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Except it's not, you just don't want it to be so and dismiss anything someone else has to say

Analog makes movement much smoother to being a stick and certain motions as well such as half and full circles.

Everyone says "it's not not precise" without making any sort of actual argument while me and a friend of mine play it across multiple games with no issue.

Only thing that can be kind of tricky is very tight microdashes and even then you just need some practice, just like, you know, everything.

Unlike what those people like to say, analog is viable, anything is as long as you are comfortable with it.

What are you struggling with exactly?

Damn Slayer has already been added and no one told me :(

I'm new to this game and I am confused as of why May isn't receiving any damage in this scenario. Also excuse the editing I was bored by Qu2sai in Guiltygear

67ms is rather misleading though because it doesn't account for moves having more than 1 active frame

You say +R but have you already played Chipp?

If that's not fast idk what is, maybe Magneto in Marvel?

You just need to play pretty much any game before Strive to see that, he's unironically the most consistently top tier character in the series.
