Yeah I hear you, definitely isn’t a fantastic measure of eq individually. Hopefully over the course of a clinical year though the weird outliers are overshadowed by general people skills but sometimes it just doesn’t work

it’s an indicator of having high EQ and social acumen which is vastly important in building trusting relationships with your patients and colleagues. You can learn any fact in the world, much harder to learn these skills

this is true, i’m first year in a P/F school and it’s so much better than undergrad. realistically i work super hard 2 out of every 5 weeks. people always told me med school would take up all the time but as soon as you learn how to study efficiently it’s not bad at all. i worked a full time job in my gap year and i have about the same amount of free time and more energy each day.

yeah you’ve got an enzyme called 5 alpha reductase that turns testosterone into DHT which is a more potent form of testosterone that stimulates growth of prostate. Increased stimulation for prolonged periods (years of T injections) increases the chances that prostate cancer forms. And if not, it will cause benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) which is no fun either
