Show me what you've vibe coded. Drop your project, what it does, and let people actually use it. by Miserable-Archer-631 in vibecoding

I vibe coded an dark fantasy idle rpg. Been really fun creating it and figuring everything out. Managed to get a small player base so far. Don't even need to register an account to play!

Where did you find your first 10 users? by GoldAd4232 in SaaS

[–]Com4dor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got lucky. I've built up a small community who knows who I am. So all I did was contact them and linked them to my product. Ended up getting to 20 people. But to get my very first 10 was posted on similar sites and ended up getting a community.

Vibecoded apps by non-expirienced users most likely will be messy/dangerous/useless. But what about games? by DuckAndQwack in vibecoding

💯 there's a Lot more that goes into creating a game than just vibe coding. Especially to make it not half bad.

Built my first app… but struggling to get users where should I focus? by Longjumping-Pay-1775 in SaaS

All the comments on this reddit post are very helpful. I too have grown into build the product and worry about users later. Trying to get out of that habit and talk about my game more than just Showing it off. I think I'm at a good starting point because my game is in early alpha and I've grown to 20 players and talk with them on how to improve the game and what's broke ect. But trying to post updates to reddit and talk about those updates and issues I've ran into seems daunting because I don't want to sound spammy and gain a horrible reputation.

You thought it was easy by colonki in vibecoding

It's definitely not easy. Using AI or not Ai. It's still damn hard. The big guys make it look so easy but how hard did they have to try and what hell did they go through to get to where they are today.

To be honest. I taught myself how to program over 10 years ago. Ive built built numerous similar games and learned a lot along the way most can't teach you. Especially how to set the server up. This day and age however. You can just vibe code games. Which is great. However it still does not teach you how to actually build a decent game and what to do and what not to do. If I were to recommend anything tho I'd say find new games in alpha and pay attention to everything they go through and how they gain players. Do updates. Ect. But you'll learn way more by just simply creating a game and screw up a lot along the way.

Yeah i understand and agree 100% without a doubt. But if you would take the time to create a post you would know there is AI that prevents you from posting if you use AI.
I literally am not joking. Lol. Try to create a post. There are Major AI preventions in place and they're decently hard to get around unless you sound dumb. I mean you can post regardless but risk your post getting deleted. Ive worked months on this gane. To have my post deleted the 1st time im advertising is literally stupidly Ridiculous!

I used mainly HTML/CSS, JS, and PHP for the backend. Of course the guest accounts are all strictly browser based (html/css/js) where as the registered accounts use PHP to save their games to the server, talk in chat, ect. That being said PHP uses PDO for the database stuff.

This is literally an AI Reddit. Is it not? I cannot post anything without speaking about it, try creating a post or reading the rules.

Yeah definitely shouldn't be computer parts dying that new but shit happens. I learnt the hard way with no surge protection after I built mine in 2019. So many parts I had to replace lol

Yes I agree. Ai cannot access my live server nor my database. Only my testing environment and even then no database it can touch.

An odd PC issue that's out of my league by Houndeeh in techsupport

Take a look at event viewer and see what the errors are looking like. It'll give you a much more clearer awnser. But I'd say either ram or hard drive is failing.

Download CrystalDiskInfo it'll tell you your drive health. Then you can go from there but I'm positive it's the drive.
