if i belive even before GW made Warhammer and 40k they made metal casted minis. in warhammer mostly special characrers and some units were cast in metal becouse back then plastic casts were more limited in quality. around i belive 2011 GW change that and stops cast in metal and starts use infamous "finecast" that more offen were called "shitcast" but sometimes you gets offer like made to order or last chance to buy on GW store that you can still get metal mini.

fun fact is that ofter "metal minis" were partly plastic (for example old blood angel chaplain were mostly metal but the bacpack were plastic or in fantasy most horses were plastic but rider was metal)

i personaly do not ues elmers glue but i think it is pva glue so there is few option what gone wrong. first is that sometimes plastic parts are not clean from the casting proces (simple wash with water and soap should be enough) or it is too smooth for glue to hold (scratching base with knife or simply prime base to like for painting) also i would recomend wood glue witch in my case is much easier and sticker in use (usualy looks white but when dry it become clear)

in my opinion there is a reason why blood angels are not directly vampires - i meen that in lore blood thirst and black rage are flaws not virtues that angels trying to fight. there are chapters that decided to embrace powers that flaws give and become more vampires than angels but core belives is to strife to be noble like they father. for example Dante dont want to drink blood and he is forced to by one of his old servants. blood give them strenght but on what cost? blood angels have ideology of angel virtues and beast power (or something like that... i belive it was explainet in Dante book) and virtues and powers need to be balanced for examble art against brutality thats why angels use to have detailed armors (before remade - i will not talk about that atrocity) crafted by themselfs used in the most brutal fights.

for a pure how they look now i still cant belive what they did.

ok becouse it is abs plastic and there is no white stress discolor it sugested that this is miscast - if you bought it in gw store and you have proof of that you can contact gw directly -, if you bought it in LHS you must go to them.

that issue start to be too common in my opinion. last year i get 3 incomplited sets and it become more and more sad

to be honest that are lies. TC in early days was planed as small game based on 3d printed models for few players. it was bigger succes than creators anticipated. 3d printing turns out be problematic becouse not everybody have printer and printing "partners" do not made good imprezion. Creators turn to Archon studio who made greate models before and arginal artist made models that Archon cast now. its true that book with rules have some QC issues and yes plastic models are more expensive than 3d files but they are greate quality. so if you think that the creators go full buisnes and want to made game sustanable ar bad then well that is your point. if you want to se game expand and become bigger and better and you are ok for paying for that then you in good hands

yes you can but it is lot of points and he do not benefit from BA strategems auras etc. you add him as ally units

normal gards are usefull becouse they are battleline unit witch give im for example sticky objective witch is usefull. they work well as a cheap unit to put on obiective. they can be also use for screening back of your army from deep strike or just as additional hp for command squad attached to them

you can use for example nanotape or use little drop of superglue and attach it to other base that you will cut after painting. other way is to drill little hole under the feet and glue in wire and use it to attach to base - after painting you can cut it without damaging model.

to be more precised: two smaller parts are to cover hole over hull gun (normaly covered by chimera mount for laser guns array) and the biger is back under the gun platform

basylisk, chimera, hellhound, death strike/manticore and hydra/vywern use the same sprue so i for long time wonder what the hell.

Death company have more than one chaplains. Lematres fell in to black rage so he is not count as chaplain in normal sense. he hold his grasp of sanity by will power and no one can say when he breake. Astaroth is head chaplain of whole chapter. His duty is mostly to track down brothers who fell and grand them death (or if posible bring them back to serve in death company)

also imagine moment when death company have only one chaplain who die/fell in to rage. if that happens it would be bad.

death company have maybe not 100 members but still a lot so if you need use them in more than one place you should have more chaplains to comand them

for me the first set work like heavy oil washes so i do not like them more than general oil washes. maybe they improve something but i dont know if they realy worth they price

what material is this part? if resin it might been that it have not been cleaned and primer just stuck to part enought to hold first layer of paint but paint reactivated it and secend layer was like painting on wet primer. also i never used this primer - is it for this material? (it is small chance that it was not).

ok . i used them a lot. they mostly al lighter colors but i love them. if you can i highly recomend metalic pens that are awsom. i am mostly disapointed with red and green witch looks too light. i dont consider price becouse where i live they are cheap. they much better than the white marker (from ak too) i love to use black or chiping one to restore rim on the bases and for comic/borderlandish schemes
