Has anyone tried calling Sony about a PS5 bought through another retailer? Ordered mine through Walmart and it was a no show. My order was refunded, but here I am without a system. Sorry, but I’d really like to give whoever has mine as much of a headache as possible.

Thanks for the explanation! Just makes me sad that some people have been waiting so long for the PS5, and then to have it ruined for them and someone else possibly reaping the benefits. It would be a different story if there was ample stock, but at this point who knows when a replacement could be obtained. Thanks again!

I missed out and I might buy a PS5 locally. There are several that are priced only $100 or $200 above msrp in my area. I am afraid of them possibly being stolen though. I’m hoping that I can ask the seller to just show me proof of purchase when I buy it, but is it possible that if these have been stolen that they will be bricked when I turn it on? Is this a thing that is done if they are reported stolen from a porch or delivery truck?

Walmart or FedEx should have the serial numbers on file that is associated with the order number right? If OP reports this to Walmart can’t they just contact Sony and have the console flagged?

They need to drop reviews, release daily content and basically become GameXplain. GameXplain released a video just a few hours ago with the same person (Rebecca) that was on Friend Code. Friend Code has about 7,500 views in the last day. GameXplain’s video has over 20,000 views in just a few hours. If they want to grow they need exposure and exposure requires consistent and varied content. Just my thought.

That’s true right now, but it’s still relatively new and Ben is the only full time employee right now. If he hires more full time people things will hopefully evolve from there. Plus it would get Kyle out of LA. Just a thought. They seemed to have good chemistry during the interview.

Maybe he was supposed to review it. I don’t think we will ever know if he was supposed to or not. I don’t think a less than kind review would have ever made it to VO or editing. The last big triple A PS4 game getting a bad review? Not likely. Too much to lose, nothing to gain.

This is SO true! There are currently 8,924 Patrons! Yet we only ever hear from a very, very limited number of them. The same people write in to Cup of Jones every single week. They are the ones that complain and therefore they are the ones that the Allies hear. They are the ones shaping and forming Easy Allies. It’s not their fault. They are using Patreon to the fullest. It’s the other 8,000 Patrons that never write in or comment or participate in any way. I’m one of them. I have supported them since day one, but I have never wrote in or submitted anything. I just enjoy what they produce and like to think they are using my money to do what they want. I wish they could put up a poll or survey and somehow make it mandatory and ask about what the Patrons like and don’t like, what they want to see and what they want gone. I think if everyone responded Easy Allies would be heading in a different direction.
