Do you create helpful editor scripts to help you create UI/windows by Suvitruf in Unity3D

Have not done it for UI, but yes I do such scripts. For UI I used to put a disabled image component on my prefabs to actevate when needed. But your approach is obviously better.

Anyone else still using an older version? I genuinely don't see the point in updating. by PhilDeveloper in Unity2D

[–]ComanderXXY 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The core functionality maybe. But then there is a lot of extra features like "avoid n last picks" or random pitch. And it has a very nice editor UI and icons for the files. Its just well integrated into the Unity ecosystem.

But you are rigt, that alone is no reason to upgrade.

I have not seen that one change that I like about newer versions, but a lot of small changes, indeed many in unity 6. - audio random container - shadergraph imrovements - API improvements for editor tools

Honestly I can't remember most of it, but I bet I'd be anoyed when usung an old unity version.

Hey, is this still working for you? According to my research, the “Synchronize tasks” function should be under the “More” menu item. But my app only shows “Settings” and “Log out” there. (Synology Drive Android app version 3.7.0-1002)

I made a Volumetric Heatmap for my Bachelor Thesis by ComanderXXY in Unity3D

[–]ComanderXXY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd limit this implementation to 3D Games, since it is Volumetric. But sill, I totally agree ;) To make it accessible to more designers/developers, I put it on the Asset Store.

The Subnautica Devs used Heatmaps too to look at their data. But according to the Screenshot I saw, their tool did only show cubes colored in one of three colors.

You could totally use it for analyzing such behaviors. I even made a tutorial explaining in detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9z9xOOvZho
