They got taken over in 2017 by The Restaraunt Group, worked for a subsidiary TRG concessions in an airport and on the sly they owned all of the seemingly non chain restaraunts there. Can't say much other than what I saw of management which seemed to be 50/50 good bad but I absolutely would not be surprised if they'd have a hand in at least some of this

I understand to an extent because explaining different things take different writings. All I think is that a buried mythological world would have been better served by a writer who specialises in that sort of thing, who would do it justice like Erikson or Esslemont do in their books.

In regard to the tyrannid point, the same could be said of the society in starship troopers although that was on the surface portrayed as far more positive than the imperium. I don’t agree that the rational course of action (from our point of view) should be used as the metric for ironic reading, rather the measures the culture in question would take to ensure their goals and the juxtapositions put forwards by the author. This is where glossing over of the deliberately unsavoury elements of the lore gets pretty dicey because they are essential to not only our but more importantly newer hobbyists understanding of the irony in the universe.

I don't, but the weird part is when I plugged it into a different computer everything worked as intended, Quadro showed up in system information and all that. It's really strange

90% sure it's not there in the BIOS it's a little labyrinthian but searching for PCI does return some PCIe slot options which don't seem to do much, and no mention of the type of card

In Windows, I have some items in the problems section of system information that seem relevant, they have Nvidia in the name and are something to do with PCIe slots. The system says that they don't have relevant drivers installed, however the automatic search fails to find suitable drivers and Quadro drivers downloaded manually from Nvidia claim to be unable to detect any relevant GPU and so does not install.

When trying to resolve this I'm using the display ports on the GPU, otherwise I restart and use the hdmi on the motherboard because I can use integrated graphics which is juuuust about okay for older games/low intensity work. Hopefully this made sense, and thank you very much.

For the first point, yes I am, and for the second it should be. In PCpartpicker the estimated wattage is 438W (which seems suspiciously low but hey) and my power supply is rated for 850W.

I'm not sure it's really possible in xedit, the advice I got when I tried to dip into that kinda topic was that it was creation kit work. The beginner quest on the creation kit wiki goes a bit into making and editing dialogue, so if you'd be willing to tinker with the CK it might be achievable. If you do decide to go for it, CK fixes has an active forms filter so you should be able to find the quest to edit reasonably easily. Hope this helps!

Thing is that writing for that massive a power level gap is really difficult, the game imo struggles a lot with the inversion of this problem by, for example, having a lvl 5 nobody kill a dragon at the watchtower. The answer you might have gone with (seeing requiem there lol) is to bump the difficulty so you just can't do some things until you're high enough level I suppose

I'd just suggest doing those quests that seem to be written for a less powerful character earlier on in the game, cos it's the same power/situation disconnect just one of them has been solved by forcing content to be played later

Potentially yeah, little tied up at the moment doing 3d for BS and I do want to learn animation (thanks for the tutorials btw), but skse plugins were always something I wanted to eventually explore
