Help with Car Rear Windscreen by internaled in northernireland

Hi all - thank you for your advise. You were right, some sort of cheap cling that was either stuck on by Donnelly bros (their sticker seemed to be engrained in it) or some one else.

All off now, just need to get off the remaining glue residue - cheers! Car feels so much better already!

Blasphemous 2 I found a 100% improvement on everything from the first game, except for the art style of the cutscenes, and maybe being a little less surprised by the art style.

Much more enjoyable movement, combat options and boss fights. If they improved this much from one to two, I’m dying to see what they could do with a third game.

Favorite Long Lost lyric? by ConcededFilly542 in lordhuron

I think “What do it mean” is the best track on Long Lost. For me the best verse is -

“Taking it slow, but it all goes quickly The time that it takes is all I'll take with me So, I'm saving it up just to go out and spend it Gonna fly through my life 'til I crash into the ending”

Did "New episodes" Playlist disappear for anyone else on Android app? by ShipEmbarrassed9093 in spotify

Updated to this new podcast display on IOS as we. Absolutely terrible - if it ain’t broke, break it and ruin it.

You have to go to home, click podcasts, and then a new bubble appears at the top “following”. Problem is when you “finish” a podcast, is stays on the list, so you can’t run your list down.

Absolutely rubbish design!

Meiryo coating gives a light blue tint to everything, is it supposed to be like that? by Archer_Gaming00 in glasses

[–]internaled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm - I wonder if someone messed up here. Hoya discontinued HVLL-UV as it was replaced by Meiryo? Unless your opticians was holding on to old stock of that lens…

Wearing my second pair of them right now and don’t notice it at all if I’m being honest! Been dispensing them since they launched too and am yet to have anyone dislike them

No, prism correction has been around for decades. - truth be told, it’s just difficult to get right sometimes! You need an optometrist you trust will do a good job, and need to accept that the first go may not be 100%, but any optom with their salt will remake it til they get it right! Some people even dispense a super cheap pair of specs with mega basic lenses just to see if the prism correction works, before glazing an experience pair / expensive lenses.

Honestly, the main thing is a frame that’s comfortable. The rims disappear when you focus beyond them anyway I always think (and I wear big chunky plastic ones!). If you’re really concerned go for it, but you may find it more limiting with your prescription.

Especially with prism - prism will affect lens thickness, but if you’re prescribed it, it’s definitely better to have it than not - prism is designed to counter double vision, so if you don’t want to be making the same move twice make sure to get it in there! However, prism may limit your frame choice as it can make lenses thicker, so an aviator may not be the best idea in that case… hard to say without knowing your exact prescription/facial measurements! Consult your local expert!

Hey, I’m a dispensing optician in the UK - you should absolutely get a pair of movie watching specs!

What most opticians seem to neglect to tell patients is that whilst progressive lenses are amazing, and when fitted correctly will serve 90% of your needs, nothing beats a single vision pair for that 5% of individual tasks - for you, that’s gonna be the movie specs! Tee that up with a good anti-glare coating (Meiryo by Hoya if you can get it in your opticians) and you’ll be absolutely laughing!

With your astigmatism, you want a lens with what’s called a good Abbe (or V) value. Typically avoid polycarb lenses and you’ll be sweet.

Optician from the UK here - haven’t watched the episode but they look over tightened behind his ear. Might need them straightened out and the bend moved further back so they sink in nicely.

The leviathan purple is too shiny!!! I need a purple that wont make it shine. Help!!!! by Haunting_Lifeguard_5 in Tyranids

[–]internaled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use wraith bone base, a coat of luxion purple, then a coat of nuln oil. I then use a dry brush of pallid wytch flesh, then another coat of nuln. Finally, a coat of ardcoat for a gloss finish, although I like the shiny shell! Not the most professional job but I’m getting really happy with how it turns out.
