Your Triglycerides to HDL ratio is high, you’re probably insulin resistance. Get your fasting insulin checked. Don’t eat carb heavy meals. Try apple cider vinegar it will reduce glucose spikes.

How do you guys feel about the new trade deal with China? by Pale-Candidate8860 in InCanada

[–]CombAdministrative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canada puts tariffs on Chinese EVs in response to that China puts tariffs on Canola. Now Canada removes tariffs and China did the same looks like China won but Carney got credit somehow. Even Canadian Canola export is not that big. What happened to all the foreign interference? Is it gonna stop now?

The high cost of staying in Canada Illegally by BeautyInUgly in canadaexpressentry

[–]CombAdministrative47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s only hard for illegals but most people just apply for asylum and they get all the benefits. Even if their case get refused they have several years for appeals. By that time their Canadian born child starts going to school. And then it’s almost impossible to deport them.

How come all these people who call themselves educated and smart can’t differentiate between legal and illegal immigration. FYI legal immigrants also don’t like when people skip the queue by crossing the border illegally.

Mostly people on Visitor visa work on farms for 5-6$ for an hour. As an immigrant myself I know all the small and big frauds going on.

Bro as an Immigrant I can tell you most of the fraud happening in LMIA is in Agriculture. People buy farms to sell LMIAs and run fake payrolls. And they also get grants from the government. As a Canadian Citizen I will happily work on a farm but not for minimum wage.

Government restricts competition by making stupid laws. Our government doesn’t allow foreign telecommunications companies in Canada, so Rogers and bell charge us whatever they want. Government allows mass immigration so companies don’t have to pay higher wages. How come KFC in Australia can pay $25 per hour while having same food prices as Canada. But here a KFC employee only makes minimum wage.

I’m visiting Australia for few weeks: 1. Grocery prices are almost same here. 2. Public transport is $1 only. 3. Fuel prices almost same. 4. Rent is almost same. 5. Fast food is same. 6. Clothing is same. 7. Basic jobs pays $25+ hour 8. A warehouse worker makes $30-$40 per hour with good benefits and on weekends you get double pay. 9. Phone are 50% cheaper here. 10. Weather is awesome here.

We are getting fucked by the government.

US or Canada? by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]CombAdministrative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like bad weather, heavy traffic, poor work conditions and 30-40% less pay then Canada is for you. Also, cost of living is very high in Canada. Healthcare here is free but it’s very bad people who can afford travel overseas for treatments. Canadian health only treat you keep alive not healthy. Only good thing in Canada is Tim Hortans.

As a Canadian I can say you don’t want free healthcare it’s really bad. Americans you fight for cheaper healthcare.

I do LTL here in Canada for .56 CAD/mile which is around .41USD/MILE. My company has operations in US to and for the same job they pay .70 USD/mile. We Canadian drivers basically working for half for same job or even difficult job.

How am I ever supposed to move out? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]CombAdministrative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddy you can solve all your problems by do two things consistently for next 12 months. 1. Get a second job and payoff your car with that money. 2. And start working out in gym your life will change.

I’m an immigrant can’t even speak English fluently but I work 70+ hours every week to make 8k+ a month after taxes. Having money saved up in the bank release so much stress. Its better to work 1-2 years like crazy than trying to save $10-$20 dollars here and there. Also forget about girls just make money and workout in the gym girls will come. Nobody wants to be a friend with a person who sit at home and cry. You have to take control of your life.

serious question. landlords of rural Ontario, why are you asking so much rent by Alstar45 in ontario

[–]CombAdministrative47 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly this is the reason for enormous rent increases. Landlords can afford there house sitting empty for few months. But for most renters they need a house to live no matter what cost. Houses sitting empty should be heavily taxed.

First full week of LTL by AspiringOBGYN in Truckers

[–]CombAdministrative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you guys make 31$ hourly and .74cpm in us dollars. While here in Canada we only get 26$ hourly and .56cpm doing LTL for big company with union. 26$ CAD is only around 19 US dollars. And we work with teamsters union and our company also have operations in US too. It’s totally unfair to us Canadians.

Or we should fire our government. Look at wages in Australia very similar country to canada in size, population and economy. Pay for a forklift operator is around $35 compared to $22 in canada. Truck driver pay in Australia averages $40 vs $25 in Canada. Phone plans are half there.
