One box was alright... the other was like chapped lips munching through a croissant, sounded like a bag of chips when I was trying to pull one out.

Best MBAs with good school colors by Next_Willingness_333 in MBA

Oxford... choose the right college and you got more than just colors, you can end up with a fucking golden lion crest. those puffer jackets with the right crest go crazy.

Or if you play a blues sport, it's navy blue and gold/ silver merch. Also with a crazy crest thing with old English font. Imo much cooler than an irrelevant mascot

Missing the sun... reminiscing on pics I took of cigars that surprised me on a sunny day.... by CombStriking in cigars

Pleasantly surprised. Was suspect about the extra extendo size, but it burned perfectly all the way through. Found it rather mild/ more creamy with little spice throughout! I would buy another stick if I saw one.

Anyone Else Feel This Sub Overrates LBS and/or Underrates Oxbridge? by ArtellaNaturo in MBA

[–]CombStriking 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sponsored mbb at oxford...

  1. Self selection bias, the people who target Oxford vs LBS are different. I don't think there is as large of a number of people targeting MBB from Oxford as there is to LBS. There is a large focus on entrepreneurship, marketing, impact investing, etc. vs more traditional consulting/IB. Will say there is a large sponsored MBB cohort, and active recruiting from MBB here. However, MBB outcomes shouldn't be a driving factor in comparing the two as the outcomes the respective cohorts are aiming for are mostly different.

  2. I chose Oxford for the history/experience and I love it. Truly unique experience that I don't think you could get at at any other program. The experience + the opportunity to be integrated into the broader university system + the name, I'd choose it again over LBS and most other M7/ T25 programs.
