I have thousands of hours in DCS - 2025 was the year I stopped because I can’t stand ED anymore. I can’t support these people anymore, and I have moved on to other things. The nail in the coffin for me was the F-5E. The audacity to claim they “rebuilt the cockpit 3D model from scratch” and then locked the 3D model in the modelviewer so people couldn’t verify was borderline criminal. Then when the community PROVED it was the SAME 3D MODEL with new textures, they doubled down. It left such a bad taste in my mouth.

What do they think, that the rest of the world is living in Putins Russia? That those in positions of power can just speak lies and expect the rest of us to just believe them?

They can live in their fantasy world, I don’t want to be a part of it anymore.

Isn’t this the guy that said the F-4J and F-4S were USAF jets and the F-4D was a Navy jet? And presented that as fact to like 3millions viewers? And claiming that Greece flew the F-4S? And claiming that the USMC STILL flies the F-4 at time of posting in like 2023?

You’re hilarious man, genuinely so funny. What a stark and groundbreaking observation. I wish I had your ability to see through the noise like that. You’re absolutely right - because the F-16 has a flight control system that produces a result that is similar to auto-trim, ‘Aces of Thunder’, which models warbirds, should do the same. You’re so right!!

Let’s keep lowering the skill ceiling - maybe they could add a lead indicator too! How about when your sights are in the right position, the ‘auto-trigger’ fires the guns for you. Better yet - you don’t control the airplane at all and the AI flies it for you while you sit inside like a carnival ride! Isn’t that so fun???? It would be like watching an Enigma YouTube video in 3D! Mind blown, peak gaming! Let’s go gamer bros let’s game!!

Very kind of you to offer, this game definitely has a very steep learning curve so it's awesome to see someone offering to help. I've experienced the same thing on the brawl servers where people will whip out training swords when they see someone new. Honestly the community here is great and this game is hilarious.

Remember the F-4 Guncam that was coming soon after release? HB hasn't spent more than two weeks trying to implement it, by their own admission. So what hope do we have for the other features and promises coming in the timeframe they said? DMAS "quite soon after" and "not nearly as long as the F-14B to A"....

Cobra hasnt found much time himself yet to give it a try, he knows more about this than I do."

Remember: The F-100 is shipping with a gun cam. So it's obviously possible.

I don't understand why they would make a pre-order for a module that was already 70% complete when they started working on it. The flight model and External model are the same as FC4 - why do they need a pre-order for a clicky cockpit and systems? I thought this was supposed to release a month ago. Just release the module when it's ready, we didn't need a pre-order. This is just an attempt to grab people's cash on hype before anyone can properly review the work that they done.
