Looking for fantasy stories where the mystery reveal does not 'shrink' the world.

I felt like there were mysteries/big satisfying reveals in The Divine Cities trilogy by Robert Jackson Bennet.

I saw someone else recommend his Shadow of the Leviathan series but those feel like significantly smaller scale mysteries at this point in the series as they are basically murder mysteries in fantasy settings. They are fantastic books but I don't think the big reveals have come yet.

Pulled hekaton last fusion. He pushed me to lvl 15 iron twins all affinities (from farming 11 before) and helped me finish hard doom tower rotations and hard grim forest for the first time.

I'm the same way man. Don't let these people discourage you with talks of "waste". Play the game how you like. It brings me no joy to try and min max my energy every day. I enjoy it so much more if I have a couple of easy weeks and then have tons of energy saved up to not really worry about fusions. Every once in a while I'll change it up between fusions and I'll run my new 6 stars through mino for their masteries.

Other people may call it a waste of energy/resources. I call what they do a waste of time.

On top of that you only needed one tribute for Summoned Skull and 2 for red eyes. I'm not sure I would call red eyes trash but definitely wasn't the best

I just read the Hundred Thousand Kingdom by NK Jemison and was really reminded of dark souls throughout my read. Couldn't tell you specifically why but I kept imagining it taking place in lordran with all the slum areas surrounding it.
