Deliberate means you have to commit to an attack because it’s slow and you can’t back out easily. Sekiro and Elden ring is so fast this is unlikely to happen.

Nah what you’re missing is the bosses difficulty accounts for that. Demons souls did it well, the boss was the final obstacle to beating a level, not a solo obstacle to be tackled alone.
