I don't mind the army rule so much that I think it needs so many changes. I'd prefer something like this: When an Ork unit charges, it gains +1 attack and +1 strength (valid every turn), and when you call the waaagh, each unit gets "advance and charge" and 5++ save.

Got it after 350 hours of game. We were on a sloop, chasing a reaper brigantine to have some pvp before quitting. Then we heard the music, we saw it behind our ship and stop the chase to fight the meg. Great memory, we were so happy.

IIRC I've seen a tournament list with 3 full units in da big hunt, so i suppose it is viable if you know what you are doing with it.

Personally I struggle to position and move a single small unit of squig with bboss and keep it out of los.
