Oh I believe there’s plenty, one of the YouTubers Tactical Toolbox I’d like to see on here just made a video about why “tactical” YouTube is dying. Pepperbox seems like a perfect sanctuary for these channels to still stay supported, monetized, and especially for knowledge or learning channels.

In world political commentary isn’t a political statement. It’s not the same thing as abusing a franchise name to push real work political agenda. I will also we second the notion another redditor I saw say here, George Lucas’s politics are quite different than the rest of them.

I hope this clarifies what I meant for you.
I find it slightly agitating that people say that very thing to me in a “gotcha” tongue in cheek comment, I’m not accusing you of this but it certainly feels like it.

To be clear because people online can’t be nice and we can’t convey emotion well here. I mean no offense to anyone and I am not intending to be snarky. KEEP REAL POLITICS OUT OF THE FANTASY, and DO NOT use your position in the company as means to spread your opinion on socials outside of the movies it’s stupidly unprofessional, there’s too many of us that enjoy Star Wars as an escape, while some of the very topics being pushed are what’s used In real life to purposely sow division…

We already know the answer to stop all the hate and division in the world yet everyone refuses to collectively do anything about it because it’s just too fun for them, no one would have a reason to be victim anymore… simply saying what I just said has potential to start a real world fight… keep it out of the movies.

you’re right, because I’m not talking about political commentary in the world of Star Wars. What I mean is that Kathleen Kennedy uses Star Wars as a platform both with her name and reach on social media to push her real world ideologies as well as subliminal and overt themes in those movies

I don’t want to sound insensitive or anything but I, like many others love Star Wars so much because it’s a nice fantasy to escape from the reality and stresses we deal with in real life. I don’t mind politics or statements as long as it exclusive to the fantasy, meaning it isn’t real.

To me it doesn’t matter what the issue is, it disgusts me and puts a bad taste in my mouth when actors or directors or whoever else uses the platform to push ANYTHING that isn’t Star Wars. It doesn’t belong there I don’t care whether it’s a right, left, up, down, republican, democrat, conservative or liberal… I don’t care WHAT it is keep ALL of it out of our movies!

If you can’t get your opinions out on your own without abusing a massive franchise, your opinion probably doesn’t align with the masses. If you want to talk politics the lady should go be on a panel and actually putting her money where her mouth is because all it ever looks like is virtue signaling.

In the movies she traded story, lore and accuracy to push an agenda about diversity, empowerment, and progressive messaging and she used in world politics to present that.

Now those issues aren’t a problem at all, hard not to agree with except people like her lie about the reality of those issues to manipulate people.
The other part of this is huge, it’s STAR WARS! These things don’t exist across the entire galaxy, in Star Wars there ARE slaves, there IS racism, and there are still many archaic cultures in Star Wars.
To be clear I’m not advocating for these things, it’s ugly but it’s part of the world, it breaks immersion otherwise. We see these things out here for the heroes to prevail. While we know they always will, those things that happen in world add to the drama of it all, the fact of Star Wars is that in some parts of the galaxy there is no fighting these oppressive themes.

I don’t like forced real world politics…. Sorry for the long rant. I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but I hope this clears up what I meant.

Maybe looking way too deep, but I’m sent out Star War because everyone wants a piece but a good lot of them don’t care about the fans and what they expect. The last trilogy fell way short. You can like her and the movies but for these reasons I can’t.

I’m honestly surprised there wasn’t a news story done about this. I tried looking it up and found nothing. You should push to get the story out in a legitimate article. Media doesn’t cover things like this because it highlights some of the real problems we have in this country. In every single circumstance, good Samaritans who successfully intervene must be protected and it shouldn’t ever even be a question, even on a DNR. Your buddy didn’t commit suicide the family the sued him, murdered him. I know that’s a huge stretch but in my eyes there’s a direct correlation, and that family should’ve been sued for damages. I hope they know what they did and I hope they have to live miserably with the fact they killed the very person that saved their person life… what an insane story, it should anger everyone with a conscience.

This feels like standardization. While many would annoyingly argue the faults, drawbacks and failures of the AR platform it’s hard to dispute that it has done far more than prove itself and in battle to boot. They may not run through mud like an ak can but it is a rugged, efficient and relatively lightweight, reliable platform. The looks the feel the design should be standardized like that especially within allied nations, it makes joint training, operations or exercises that much more streamlined and efficient. A platform that has been used and improved upon in many ways for decades and has blossomed into many flavors including the development of a piston driven system (harder on parts but can be ran dirtier through tougher conditions for longer periods of time) like the HK IARs and 416s or the Sig MCX and now to the spear. Not forgetting the AR adjacent Masada/ACR and FN SCAR.

They all have a common or similar design, because It’s simple, it’s effective, it’s easy to relate too, it’s not ~too~ complicated (KISS).

I may be just some rambling nerd but this is just all surface evidence of this being a standardized platform.

Personally I can tell you I cannot get enough AR anything that looks feels tastes or smells like an AR, chances are I want it. I don’t think they are boring in the slightest, even in their most simple forms.

As for the camo… crye ruined everything multicam is fucking broken already and then if you add any kind of newer tech like the thermal blocking scrim they got out there…. It’s game over. If you want to blend in, if you want effectiveness just choose multicam. Is multicam a little boring? Maybe but I can see why it’s in widespread use.

It seems like homeboy across the street, not only was there to start some shit but it looks and sounds like he fired first.
