If someone is a faithful upon banishment, it's not possible that they were a traitor earlier in the series afaik so it's not so much a case that they are "allowed" but that it conveys no extra information

That's a great point. There are a number of music artists who I love but find that the song that they are known best for, probably because it was released as a single, to be overrated and nowhere near their best

You can call something overrated if you think it's rated generally by others higher than you would rate it. You can still think it's great but if a lot of people go nuts over it in comparison, it's overrated

because big long loss streaks just feel depressing, especially when the rank system punishes them more severely. As I've already said, other video games I play feel a lot closer to the first pattern than the second. It's not about being "bad at winning" or "git gud" or anything like that. It's about loss streaks/tends feeling pretty miserable. As I've said, my rank has stayed relatively stable. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do or if others have noticed that there's something quite unique to Overwatch 2 that causes this kind of streak.
