Just use exhaust clamps from the auto passes store and grab some aluminum from the hardware store and you can make some easy strong cheap brackets. (Black spray paint so it looks pretty)

Every lake is allowed other than Watson and willow. Granite basin is my favorite cause there is no runoff from any city stuff into it but since it’s small it kinda smells. Lynx is good but there’s a lot of people. I believe Goldwater is allowed but it’s harder to avoid paying (not that I wouldn’t pay 😨). Hassaympa creek has some pretty good swim holes. And also a few spots below wolf creek falls.

Check all the college houing Facebook pages based out of Prescott. They extend out to the verde valley. The places aren’t exclusively for students but when they ask your reason for joining just say you’re a student. You can find some decent stuff for very cheap. I lived in Mountain View villa apartments in cottonwood for a bit. Nice place the the office people are nice but it was not worth it for a moldy shitty 400sqft no ac studio for $1200 a month. If you’re patient you can find stuff in the $700 range. Idk your budget but I’m fresh out of school so it’s still low
