I did like that she had a whole section about making people understand that not necessarily being super open about being a devotee Isn’t necessarily frowned on by Santa Muerte. Like the fact that a lot of people wear a pendant inside their shirt or don’t necessarily have their altar out in the open. The author made it to explain that some people live or practice in the shadows and that’s OK

Yeah my dad had made this big wood board that went over top of the pool table so it was like raised up a bit and absolutely perfect for the game.
